NORTH COAST - ALAGOAS

To go back

Paripueria Mar & Cia

Paripueira beach, located 33 km from Maceió, boasts one of the lowest tides, almost 0.0, making the Costa dos Corais Environmental Protection Area visible, home to the second largest coral reef in the world. To explore the natural pools, three km offshore, formed by coral reefs, a catamaran tour is available; the boat also offers trips to the Municipal Marine Park.

On the beachfront, you'll find the Mar e Cia Beach Club, which offers: a restaurant with international and national cuisine, hammocks, parasols, tables, chairs, chaise lounges, restrooms, showers, an ice cream parlor, a children's playground, as well as lockers and massages. From Mar e Cia, you can take catamaran trips to the aforementioned natural pools and also jeep tours to Carro Quebrado Beach, located in the neighboring municipality of Barra de Santo Antônio, which was voted the 6th most beautiful deserted beach in Brazil, according to Viagem e Turismo magazine.

Lontra Beach Club - Barra de Santo Antônio

Barra de Santo Antônio, a municipality located 40 km from Maceió after Paripueira, offers a spectacular experience with its white sand beaches and warm, clear waters, bordered on the mainland by dunes and cliffs. The local scenery changes according to the time of day and the intensity of the sun's rays. The Santo Antônio River still preserves an extensive mangrove forest along its banks, and its course divides the city into two parts: to the right lies the more urban core, with housing and urban services; and to the left are the main tourist attractions. In this haven of tranquility and beauty, amidst lush nature and an exclusive sea, on Carro Quebrado Beach, you'll find the Lontra Beach Club, a day-use establishment with an air-conditioned restaurant offering diverse and sophisticated cuisine, signature drinks, a varied musical program, beach services, spa, massages, a kids' area, and water activities such as stand-up paddleboarding. Buggy and jeep tours are also available.
