SOUTH COAST
BARRA DE SÃO MIGUEL
Several beautiful beaches make up the paradisiacal landscape that can be appreciated by land, buggy tours, or by sea, in speedboats. The coral reef breaks the speed of the waves, and as they overcome it, they transform the sea into a lagoon of warm, transparent waters. Conchas Beach, where the São Miguel River flows into the ocean, creates scenery that changes throughout the day with the variation of the tide, is a place for harvesting Massunim (a mollusk abundant in the area). Praêro Beach Club is a space that offers, in addition to a good menu, a complete structure for visitors to Barra Beach.

SOUTH COAST
GUNGA

Also noteworthy is the Roteiro Lagoon, whose waters extend to Gunga Point, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean, and whose shores display lush vegetation, full of coconut trees. Shellfish and fish are harvested there, and it also allows for the practice of water sports.

The location also offers optional boat trips up the Jequiá River, a "Pau de Arara" (a 6x6 American REO vehicle) ride, and the Caetés Trail (a river tour and mud bath).
